The COVID-19 vaccination initially began on 16th January in India to only health care workers. They have expanded to elderly people over 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with comorbidities. The COVID-19 Vaccine was free at a government hospital, and private hospitals could charge up to Rs 250 per dose. Now to get the Vaccine, there is a list of comorbidities among people between the age of 45-60 years that physicians and doctors share. You should be carrying a valid comorbidity certificate signed by a registered medical practitioner.

Since this was a severe pandemic being faced after decades hence different studies would have different views. In this disease, the doctors often recommend the patients to take Vaccines if they had taken cancer treatment or even if they have other comorbidities. Other patients who are still undergoing chemotherapy are suggested to complete their chemotherapy sessions first and then go for vaccination. You may also experience a little swollenness and pain in the area and a feeling of fatigue. Once you get a vaccine, the doctor would give you certain medicines like paracetamol. In addition, they suggest you take proper rest and keep yourself hydrated so that the body does not have side effects.
