Star Screen Awards 2019 winners list is out. One of the most prestigious awards in Bollywood, the Annual “Star Screen Awards 2019 ”, concluded on 8th December 2019 in Mumbai. It was a star-studded affair where the biggest names in the Hindi film fraternity graced the red carpet and added glamour and flair to the occasion.
Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Karthik Aryan, Kiara Advani, Tapsi Pannu, Kriti Sanon, Yami Gautam, looked stunning in their fashionable outfits.
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt win Top Honours
Among the Star Screen Awards 2019 winners, Zoya Akhtar’s “Gully Boy”, which was one of the most appreciated movies of 2019, stole the show bagging the highest number of awards among the various categories. The ever-charming Ranveer Singh recently won the ‘Best Actor’ award and talented Alia Bhatt won the awards for ‘Best Actor’ in the Female category for their performance in Gully Boy.
It was a double treat for Ranveer Singh as he also bagged the award for “Entertainer Of The Year “ for Gully Boy. Last year, Ranveer and Alia had won the awards in the same category for their brilliant performances in “Padmaavat” and “Raazi” respectively.
Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, and many other celebs set the stage on fire with their sizzling performances.
Where “Gully Boy” dominated the popular choice category, Anubhav Sinha’s “Article 15” turned out to be the favourite among the critics. “Article 15,” was another gem among the Star Screen Awards 2019 winners. The movie had delivered a strong message about society’s flaws and left an impact on the audience. “Article 15” was second only to “Gully Boy” in the number of awards won.
Ayushmann Khurana, who has evolved as a fine actor, bagged the award for the Best Male Actor in Critics Choice category for “Article 15”, whereas Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu shared the honours of Best Female Actor in Critics Choice category for their roles in the movie, “Saand Ki Aankh.” Shahid Kapoor’s “Kabir Singh” and Ayushmann Khurana’s “Bala” are some of the worthy mentions that made it in the list of Star Screen Awards 2019 winners. Veteran actor PremChopra was honoured with the Life Time Achievement award.
