Nowadays, you must have seen a photo of Donald Trump notepad scribbled with a Sharpie that has gone viral on the internet. The note has become a perfect meme material on Twitter and other social media platforms.
The absurd note was written in response to Ambassador Gordon Sondland’s (United States Ambassador to the European Union) public testimony during his impeachment hearing and growing evidence for a quid pro quo. Donald Trump addressed White House reporters on Wednesday, November 20 using a handwritten note on Air Force One letterhead that read like a song.
This is not the first time U.S President Donald Trump has held a press conference, but his most recent speech to the press has gone viral for all the invalid reasons.
I think Donald always does something hilarious before starting his speech. He once mocked Greta Thunberg for her speech on climate which was totally dumb.
This time his handwritten note has become a meme material because of course, it is written absurdly. The note says: “I WANT NOTHING I WANT NOTHING,” one page read. “I WANT NO QUID PRO. TELL ZELENSKY TO DO THE RIGHT THING. THIS IS THE FINAL WORD FROM THE PRES OF THE U.S.”
How Trump’s Note was Shot?
Getty Images photographer Mark Wilson is the person who took the photograph of Trump’s notepad. In a recent interview, he revealed how he shot the photo.
Wilson revealed that many reporters who covered Trump’s remarks on Tuesday were busy covering the impeachment hearings. However, he said that the area where all reporters and photographers and were stationed was still super crowded.
Wilson had brought a Canon 1DX, a 100–400mm lens, and a 24–35mm lens. Though it is not stated which focal length he used to capture the notes, but he must have used the zoom lens.
When the press conference began, Trump started reading from his notes and waving his arms as a poet recites a poem. This gave Wilson a clear view of the notes.
Wilson also added “I quickly noticed that the pad contained large handwritten notes in Sharpie and focused my camera to capture what was on the page,” he told in an interview with Wired. This is how the photo was taken by Wilson which become iconic.
Donald Trump Viral Note on Twitter
Trump’s handwritten note has been viral in different ways. Firstly, it came as a Meme in response to Ambassador Gordon Sondland’s impeachment hearing testimony.
Later, the note gave birth to a bunch of Tweets. It came to the spoof emo-style song. Obama-era White House photographer Pete Souza also boomed in.
And now, New York City-based creative director Alex Kliment has converted Trump’s notes into a Ramones-esque number. It sounded like some punk rock lyrics, the Ramones in particular.
