In the speech where Greta Thunberg addressed the world leaders, Donald Trump was one of them. This might not come as a shock to you, he skipped the speech. And later went on twitter to mock the teenager by retweeting the video clip and making a sarcastic comment “She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!”
It was really low even for trump to mock a teenager. However, Greta didn’t just take the sarcastic comment and sat there, she used the comment as her Twitter Bio and clapped back. Though she has changed her bio now.
Trump only made a short appearance in the climate submit. He didn’t even take up any questions about climate change. He has also rolled back a few environmental initiatives that Former President Obama started. So, for him to comment on a child who devoted her life to make a change in the environment is beyond our understanding.
